S Y N O P S I S
Shot of Glory was inspired by the Great Arab Revolt of 1916.
The story depicts the arising of townspeople to resist a dominating tyrant. They become disgusted with the incessant bullying, and the plundering of their arrogant rulers. Secret societies are hatched. Street cafes become hotbeds for dissidents who pledge to rid Arabia of Ottoman domination.
With the help of local Bedouin tribes, the rebels plot to blow up the Hejaz Railway, while female accomplices distract the Ottoman soldiers. The drums of war herald the start of the desert campaign. A shot is fired and blood is spilled. The die is cast. Arabia awakens...
