SAILING THE SILK ROAD - 2016

S Y N O P S I S

Sailing the Silk Road is a spectacular dance musical drama which premiered at the majestic Roman temples celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Baalbeck International Festival. It is a fantastic tale of legends, gods and heroes, of adventurers, navigators and emperors.

Jupiter, God of Gods, releases two eagles, one to the East and the other to the West and commanded them to fly towards each other; when they met in the middle of the earth, fire erupted and thunder clapped, and that was the place of the Divine, where the Titans built their home, in the “City of the Sun”.

It is a journey of hope, a tale of faith and destiny, a reminder of the powers of the human spirit, where one glorious humanity comes together in one world.
